Empowering Women and Agribusiness Cooperatives
Working collaboratively the Tanzanian Federation of Cooperatives (TFC), CESO supports the development of economic opportunities for women and youth, particularly within the agribusiness sector.
CESO worked with the Nronga Women’s Dairy Cooperative (NWDC) to strengthen productivity and sustainability in three main areas: technical agricultural and livestock practices; improvements in product quality and hygiene; and operational and processing efficiencies, resulting in a reported productivity increase of 64 per cent.
