Catalyste+ Celebrates its Volunteers During National Volunteer Week
Catalyste+ Advisors share their skills and experience to help make the world a better place. From Ecuador to the Philippines, our volunteers act as catalysts for change, and we’re proud to recognize their efforts this National Volunteer Week, April 16 to 22, 2023.
“Supporting others to unlock their potential and overcome obstacles is a powerful way to create positive change,” says Catalyste+ CEO Wendy Harris. “This is what drives our Advisors.”
Catalyste+ Advisors are Canadian senior-level professionals with extensive expertise from the private and public sectors. In over 30 countries and with Indigenous communities in Canada, they provide mentorship and advisory services to Catalyste+ partners. The 1,500 Advisors on our roster share their skills in strategic planning, business development, financial management and more to strengthen governance and support sustainable, inclusive businesses.
“Our volunteers are passionate about empowering local partners to co-create solutions for development priorities that drive social and economic change and allow communities to thrive,” shares Wendy.
Last year, our volunteers completed over 800 assignments, supporting the efforts of over 450 businesses, governments and community organizations that are advancing inclusive growth and sustainable development.
“Supporting others to unlock their potential and overcome obstacles is a powerful way to create positive change. This is what drives our Advisors.”
For Catalyste+ Advisors, the reward comes from their collaboration with partners that builds stronger economies, creates inclusive, lasting change and improves lives.
By sharing your professional knowledge and expertise, you can make a positive difference in Canada and around the world. Volunteer with us.
