Catch the Dream: Building Resiliency in Pangnirtung

Watch the latest video about our work in Pangnirtung, Nunavut : https://youtu.be/9lyI3DvChGE

Catch the Dream is a short film about the community of Pangnirtung, Nunavut. It showcases the resilience of its residents, and the determination of local agents and partner organizations to create a thriving and healthy environment for the community.

Inuit Ilagiit Society is a Community Service Organization (CSO) based in the community of Pang. The organization addresses the challenges they face as a remote, Northern community, including food security, unemployment, as well as health and wellness. As part of our RBC Foundation program, CESO (Canadian Executive Services Organization) partnered with the local organization to provide practical workshops and training to support their community’s economic and social development objectives.

Through this short film, we hope to convey the importance of collaborative partnership in supporting the growth and resilience of remote Indigenous communities across Canada. At CESO, we believe every First Nations, Metis and Inuit community deserve to prosper and grow, and an opportunity to do so within their traditions. We’re here to support these communities and organizations, like Inuit Ilagiit Society, to strengthen their capacities to drive development locally.

We encourage you to learn more about the opportunities to support Indigenous communities as a CESO volunteer or a funding partner at www.ceso-saco.com/canada. Or more immediately, you can help us spread the word by sharing this video with your network:
