To ensure Catalyste+ is a good mutual fit, our team will review your completed application and, if you are a suitable candidate, we will schedule a phone interview where we can answer questions.
Our Volunteer Services and in-country teams support you throughout your journey—from application to going on an assignment. You’ll be joining thousands of Catalyste+ Advisors who help build stronger economies for better lives, in Canada and in 30 countries around the world.
To ensure Catalyste+ is a good mutual fit, our team will review your completed application and, if you are a suitable candidate, we will schedule a phone interview where we can answer questions.
Assuming all goes well after our call and with the subsequent reference checks, you will move into our onboarding process, which includes submitting a criminal record check, signing Catalyste’s volunteer policies, completing online training and submitting a one-time administrative fee.
As a Catalyste+ Advisor on our volunteer roster, you’re ready to find and complete assignments. These steps are outlined in the next section.
Fill out the Catalyste+ Advisor application form and attach your résumé in Microsoft Word format. Please ensure your contact information (address, phone and email address) is included on your resume. Please note that you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and covered under a Canadian provincial health program (e.g. BC Services Plan, OHIP, Quebec Health Insurance Plan).
We carefully review each application to ensure a strong match between an Advisor’s skills and the needs of the project.
You’ll have support from staff with logistics, orientation and settling into your placement. Your primary contact is the Catalyste+ in-country team.
Complete post-assignment requirements with the support of Catalyste+ staff.
Your donation helps connect businesses, governments and community organizations with the skills and support to achieve their goals and contribute to inclusive growth. When you give to Catalyste+, you empower women and drive progress in harmony with nature. You’re helping people get what they need to improve their lives and build strong communities.
